In order to develop DANUBIUS-RI’s Science & Innovation Agenda, about 35 representatives from different DANUBIUS-RI’s Supersites and Nodes, as well as the Hub and Data Centre, participated in two consecutive workshops, which took place on September 18-20, 2018 in Hamburg, Germany.
The workshops were organised by WP2 and hosted by Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Institute of Coastal Research. The participants prioritised challenges and research needs, and developed a list of potential services for DANUBIUS-RI during the workshops.
Based on feedback to the working document on research needs in River-Sea Systems, discussions during the workshops and input from thematic expert writing teams, a preliminary draft of DANUBIUS-RI’s Science & Innovation Agenda has been developed.
